Classes
Classes are held at my North London home in a purpose built yoga shala which is located at the bottom of my garden. All props and mats will be provided, however should you wish to bring your own mat, then please feel welcome to do so.
I teach Yin and Yang yoga, which is a style that comes under the umbrella of Hatha yoga.Yin Yang is about bringing balance between the (Yang) masculine and (Yin) feminine energies of our being. They co-exist within each other and cannot be separated.
Yang yoga is a dynamic more muscular approach to asana practice, with a combination of circular and spiral movements incorporated within a vinyasa flow sequence. Yin yoga is the balancing medium to Yang yoga which is the more feminine, passive and restorative aspect in which asanas are held for longer durations using the breath as a guide.
My class sequences starts off in a yang style vinyasa flow and are balanced with yin style postures that are more calming, relaxing and restorative. Each class closes with a short meditation which gives space for personal reflection. My classes are designed to be open level, and as such, I welcome people of all abilities.

What to wear to class?
Gym wear, loose comfortable clothing.
Please note that shoes and socks will need to be removed at the start of class.
Please refrain from eating 1 hour before class starts.
